We picked up Jay & the gang's new record when he came through The End back in July [it wasn't out then, but they were selling vinyl copies] and after giving it some good spins on the table we can say without a doubt that we kind of like it. It's their first full length record since signing with Matador [we don't count the '08 singles because that's just a compilation] and you can hear the difference in it from the Goner/In the Red days. A lot of people are reviewing it. We were going to put up the album artwork, but it just makes Jay look real creepy so we figured it'd be better to show his lighter side. Jay also just made a little documentary. You can find the trailer for that along with some singles from the new LP and a photo from his July 9th show below!
